Terms & Conditions

By accessing this service and when Tour Destinations Ireland Ltd confirms your booking, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services. Any participation in this service will constitute acceptance of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the below, please do not use this service.

Bookings

Only when you pay the tour cost in full will you be allocated a place on the tour. Online bookings will receive a confirmation email at the end of the booking process. Please have proof of booking with you printed or e ticket confirmation on arrival for your tour. It is the responsibility of the person booking to ensure all information of names, dates and times of tours and passenger/s are correct.

Tour Destinations Ireland Ltd have the right to sell any place that has not been paid for in full. We are not responsible for information given to 3rd party bookings by booking agents or travel agents etc.  Bookings made after 6pm for the following day cannot be guaranteed.  We are not responsible for confirmations not received because of internet or technical problems when booking, or any bookings made through online ticket agents.

Departure times and locations for tours

Pick up times are approximate and depend of traffic conditions. Tours to Cobh and Spike Island from Dublin will depart from Merchants Arch, Wellington Quay, Dublin 1. You will be given the tour departure time at your time of booking. You must be at the pick up location for your tour at least 10 minutes before the departure time given to allow time for our checking in process with a Tour Destinations Ireland member of staff. Please have proof of booking with you. Tour departure times will not be delayed because of delayed passengers. Any passenger failing to be on time and miss the bus will not be entitled to a refund and also not entitled to a reschedule of tour date.

While on tour we will make several stops along the route. At every stop passengers will be given a time and the location the bus will depart from. It is the passengers responsibility to be on board the bus for the departure time. The bus will not wait for late passengers returning to the bus. Passengers that miss their bus will not be given any refund or return of money for the tour. Tour Destinations Ireland Ltd are not responsible for any cost for passengers travel in the event you miss your bus.

Travel

You must make sure you have all relevant visa, passport or permits required for you to travel.  The company does not cover you for insurance. Tour Destinations Ireland Ltd are not responsible for any injury, loss or damage that may occur during the tour or activities taken up outside or during  your tour.

We advise you obtain full cover travel insurance before you travel to cover medical cost, personal accident, public damages, loss of property/belongings and any public liability etc.

Cancellations

Cancellation of tours booked must be made by email to Tour Destinations Ireland Ltd. You must cancel your tour 48 hours before the tour date to be entitled to a full refund. Any cancellations made between 48 hours and 24 hours before the tour date booked will be entitled to 50% refund. If booking/s are cancelled within 24 hours before tour date no refund will be given. You may change your date of tour booked( subject to availability) up to 48 hours before your tour date. Changes to bookings are subject to a 20 euro administration fee at the discretion of Tour Destinations Ireland Ltd management.

In the case that you are late for the bus in the morning or you do not show up for your tour you will be charged the tour price in full for all seats booked as we have reserved a seat or seats for your booking.

Private tours are only entitled to a full refund if cancelled 28 days before tour date. Any cancellation of private tours will be entitled to a 50% refund if cancelled between 28 and 7 days before tour date. Any cancellations less than 7 days before tour date will not be given any refund.

Occasionally in low season bookings for tours may fall due to fewer visitors coming to Ireland. There is a minimum number of bookings required to operate scheduled tours every day. In the event tours fail to reach the minimum bookings required to operate then the tour may be cancelled and a full refund will be given for any bookings made for the tour date cancelled.

Itinerary, cost and weather conditions

Tour Destinations Ireland Ltd may change tour itinerary lay out at any time. While we will do everything in our power to fulfill tour itinerary as stated for tours, routes may be subject to change depending on various reasons beyond our control. Itineraries are also subject to change if Tour Destinations Ireland feel it would improve the tour provided to passengers. Tour Destinations Ireland Ltd has the right to increase of decrease the cost of the tour before you book a tour.

We are not responsible for weather conditions. Cancelation or changes to tours as a result of weather conditions are not at the fault of Tour Destinations Ireland Ltd. No refunds are given as a result of tours affected by weather conditions while on tour. We strive to provide the best possible experience for you while on tour with us and to deliver a tour of the highest standard but we cannot prevent experiences had as a result of poor weather. We are not responsible for tours affected by boat services cancelled or carried out by Spike Island County Council or weather conditions.

On board the coach

Your health and safety is a priority to us. While our busses are in transit it is against the law to stand up while the vehicle is moving. Seat belts are provided and it is a requirement by law to wear them. Your comfort and safety is of the most important. You are not allowed to attract the drivers attention while the bus is being driven.

We want you to have the best Ireland has to offer while travelling with us. We provide on board commentary to passengers. While commentary and particularly direction along the tour is being given we ask that passengers allow the guide/driver to be heard by all passengers. We do not allow passengers disrupt a tour as a result of bad behaviour on board the coach. You must abide by the laws of the Republic of Ireland, the European Union and Britain while travelling within the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Your ticket will be cancelled without refund if you do not do so. We do not accept responsibility or liability for the behaviour of passengers on tour.

At anytime during the tour you feel unwell please inform a member of staff immediately. If you suffer with travel/motion sickness please take precautions to help your condition before traveling. If you soil a bus there will be a cleaning charge of 100euro at the discretion of Tour Destinations Ireland Limited to be paid by the passenger responsible.

There is no smoking in or near our coaches. Alcohol is not permitted on board the coach.

Complaints

Please inform our representative at the time of a problem. We will do everything we can to resolve any complaints without delay. If you wish to make a formal complaint regarding our services provided please do so by email to Tour Destinations Ireland Ltd within 14 days of your tour date. We will investigate your complaint and respond to you as soon as possible.
